Undercover out in the field:

 

By making observations on a specific theme field or topic I gather stories that can lead to design ideas and concepts. I go out in the field, visit cities or places and only look through the eyes of the client. How is the brand or product experienced in real life? What is the world the consumer lives in? What is happening on the street? From a sociological perspective I look at target groups or 'tribes' and how they behave in the city. I talk with experts and random people; gather opinions to turn these into valuable insights for your company. Different approaches and outcomes are possible depending on the needs of the client.


Visual storytelling:

 

Based on the research of a topic I create new work. I love to turn complex data and dusty information into designed material that tells the story. Together with the client I collect all kinds of relevant material inside and outside the office and convert this into a design, an info graphic, a website, a beautiful book, a short film or installation...that tells the story that needs to be told.
