Visual intelligence from foreign lands.

In an era of increasing globalization, architects are frequently faced with building in foreign countries where they are total strangers. They are forced to rapidly know and understand the culture, rhythm and delicate relationships of these places in order to design appropriately to the context. Visiting the site helps, but the unique details of the place can be missed, lost or forgotten. An extensive streetologie will help to record these details and reveal a different perspective that can be a constant reference during the design process.

Clients I worked for: The Dynamic City Foundation, OMA, Onze Ville, Point Supreme, ING vastgoed.
